Her cry for mercy fell on deaf ears, as the beast in uniform kept doing what he knows best.

This is definitely not right. The primary obligation of a soldier is to protect the ordinary people, not to harass them for no just reason.
Since when did it becomes the responsibility of the military men to dictate what sort of dress or lifestyle is appropriate for people?
These sort of things should not be happening in a civilized society like Nigeria, it’s quite absurd.
