Nigerian singer and songwriter Joel Amadi popular known as Joe El has cried out on social media over the killings happening in his hometown.
The Kennis Music signee took to Twitter and Instagram to solicit for the help of the armed forces and Governor El Rufai, in putting a stop to an ongoing manslaughter in his village Zikpak Kafanchan, Kaduna State.
Joel also alleged that his father has been missing as a result of this recent crisis in Southern Kaduna. He wrote on Instagram:
“Killing is going on in my father’s village zikpak, kafanchan and my Dad has been missing including other villagers are missing and houses are being burnt yet no help. Please repost this till it gets to the governor @elrufai of kaduna state and the necessary armed forced of nigeria.”

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the recent violence and killings in Southern Kaduna persisted because of the “evil combination of politically-motivated banditry, revenge killings and mutual violence by criminal gangs acting on ethnic and religious grounds.
Many people including artists and social media influencers have joined Joel in calling for action from the government.
