Mrs. Deborah Okezie, whose 10-year-old son was allegedly molested at Deeper Life High School Uyo Campus, Akwa Ibom State has lamented over what seems to be a threat she recently received.
In a video posted on Twitter, the distressed mother alleged that she was invited alongside her son, for questioning at the office of Akwa Ibom State commissioner for education.
According to Mrs. Deborah, the commissioner asked her to delete her live video on Facebook, claiming it was putting the government at risk. They also interrogated the victimised boy with questions that are irrelevant.
When the mother objected, they tried to bully her right inside the commissioner’s office. She alleged that one of the parents of the senior students who abused her child also tried using his belt on her. If not for the camera in that office, she could have been assaulted.
