Common ways to detect a pregnant woman

Being pregnant is a feeling that varies from people to people. The same way a woman feels during pregnancy will be different from the way another feels.

The commonest sign of pregnancy is missed period. However, missed period could be as a result of infections, being overweight or excess stress. After conception, the body produces hormones that stop ovulation and the shading of the lining of the uterus. As such, menstral periods stop coming.

From week 1-6 of pregnancy, symptoms one could experience includes:

  • Cramps
  • Missed period
  • Fatigue
  • Tingling of breast
  • Bloating
  • Frequent urination
  • Mood swings
  • Temperature changes

Week 8-10

  • High blood pressure
  • Faster heartbeat
  • Extreme fatigue

Week 11-12

  • Breast/nipple change
  • Visible weight gain
  • Pregnancy glow.
