A former Bus Conductor identified as Dayo got a new bus after he lost his conductor job while volunteering with Chess in Slums Africa.

 

Dayo used to be an ‘area boy’ at Oshodi Underbridge and has been an indispensable tool to Chess in Slums.

He led the team in securing lives and properties that helped Chess in Slums touch the lives of kids at Oshodi Under ba ridge.

Dayo lost his job as a Danfo Conductor because he was volunteering with Chess in slum during the Oshodi “Underbridge Cheese project.”

On Saturday, 29 January 2022, the Founder of Chess in Slums, Tunde Onakoya partnered with good-hearted Nigerians to get Dayo his Mini-bus to start his transport business and earn a living.

‘We will not stop until we have changed their lives for good.’ Chukwuma Gemdeconq Ezeh wrote on his Facebook wall.

Chess in Slums Africa was officially founded in 2018 by Tunde Onakoya who has children at heart especially those who are living in the slum of Ikorodu.

Tunde is a professional chess player and coach.
