Nigeria’s Chief of Army staff General Ibrahim Attahiru, has reportedly died in a plane crash.
According to Sahara Reporters, General Ibrahim Atahiru died on Friday in a crash that took the lives of all the passengers. Investigations has already commenced to as ascertain the cause of the crash.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) is the highest ranking military officer of the Nigerian Army. The position is often occupied by the most senior commissioned officer appointed by the President of Nigeria. The current COAS is Attahiru Ibrahim.
