The Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) has challenged the Federal Government of Nigeria to channel their useful resources to the reopening of schools across the country.

The Chairman of ASUU, University of Calabar chapter, recently made a call for the government to put into the University, the same energy as they did with the Nigerian Aviation sector, to see if it will not reopen within one week.

Official_ASUU posted this statement via their Twitter. It reads:

“ASUU Chairman, University of Calabar Chapter, Dr. Edor J. Edor has challenged the Federal Government to extend the same energy put in the aviation sector to Nigeria’s Education sector and see if Universities would not reopen within one week.”
