A man who was wrongly declared d£ad by a doctor, shocked everyone at his funeral when he woke up, before dying hours later in Akwa-Ibom.
According LindaIkeji’s report, late Usen-Obong Ime Jacob, 27, slumped in his parents’ home on Sunday evening, May 1, and was taken to a private hospital in Abak, Akwa-Ibom State.
He was wrongly declared dead by a doctor that same evening and the family held a funeral for the man on Monday, May 2. As people gathered around for his funeral, the coffin “opened on its own” and mourners noticed the deceased breathing weakly.

The man was rushed to a Teaching Hospital in Uyo where another doctor checked him and confirmed he only died “2 hours ago.” He claimed Usen-Obong was in a coma when the doctor at the private hospital declared him dead, and he might have survived if he was put on life support.
