These days, burger has youngsters and kids as the major consumers.

As attractive as it may be, the burger is not wholly good for the health because it provides about 1,200 calories and up to 1,700 milligrams of sodium.

Therefore, you put your health at risk when you make burgers a regular meal.

Burger puts your health at risk because:

 

• Increases cholesterol Level

Burger increases the cholesterol level in your body due to the high level of fat that is present in it, and this cholesterol in turn is very harmful to the health.

 

• Increase Sugar Level

Burger spikes up your sugar level and can lead to weight gain and become a risk factor for diabetics.

 

• Not good for the Heart

High levels of sugar, fat, and sodium present in burgers are harmful to the heart and can pose a risk factor for a heart attack.

 

• Can drain Energy 

Because  burger is packed with refined carbohydrates and sugar, it causes a spike in blood sugar which prompts the body to produce a surge of insulin to quickly bring it down. The quick rise and fall cycle can leave you tired easily rather than a balanced meal with protein that takes a longer time to digest.

• Raise blood pressure

Most fast food items are packed with sodium and the problem is that diets that are high in sodium are known to increase blood pressure which puts your cardiovascular system under stress.

 

• Weight Gain 

Burgers are high in calories and can amount to excessive weight gain. It is loaded with ketchup, mayo, and other ingredients that are not too good for the body.

 

• Too much intake of burgers can cause depression and depreciation of mental health.

 

Eat healthily for a better life. Even if you must eat Burger, make it occasionally and Make sure that your previous diets have been balanced.
