The heart is an essential organ to humans, widely known for its function to pump blood and keep the whole body in order and deliver energy to every cell in the human body.

The human heart should be properly taken care of at all times to maintain well-being because if the heart fails to function well, other organs of the body will be at risk and it may even be a risk factor for death.

Visiting the doctor always to ascertain the State of your heart will help you live healthy because the doctor can determine risk factors for heart diseases and help manage them.

Laughing is a good cardio workout. It decreases artery inflammation and reduces stress hormones. When you laugh, you decrease your risk of heart attacks because you do more breathing experience at that time.

It also makes more oxygenated blood circulating through the body thereby improving vascular function.

You should better start taking your dental Hygiene more seriously. Poor dental hygiene is likely to increase the risk of having an infection in the bloodstream which can affect the heart valves.

Research has also shown that people who have more than one cleaning a year suffer the least heart attack.

Those with significant dental issues suffer more heart attacks than those without.

 

4. Drink more water

New research suggests that drinking 8 glasses of water a day throughout your life could reduce the risk of heart failure. Constant dehydration could set off processes that lead to the development of heart failure.

A dehydrated heart is able to pump blood more easily, it allows the muscles in your body to even work better.

If you are dehydrated, the amount of blood circulating through your body decreases.

 

5. Eat Healthily

I guess this isn’t the first time you will hear about the importance of eating healthy.

Certain diets can influence blood pressure, cholesterol level, and inflammation which are risk factors for heart disease.

A healthy diet can help reduce your risk of developing heart disease by maintaining blood pressure and cholesterol level.

Pay attention to what you eat, to achieve a healthy heart, it’s advisable to eat foods that are rich in nuts, and healthy fats such as Avocado, fruits and vegetables, Beans, Tomatoes, Garlic, and foods high in Omega-3 fatty acids.
