How to make a tote bag without a sewing machine.
Tote bad is a large bag that is not usually fastened with parallel handles coming from the side of its pouch. It usually have a large opening on the top.
A tote bag is quite fashionable and portable. One beautiful thing about a tote bag is that it can be personalized to represent who you are.
Making a tote bag is not as difficult as it may look and the good thing is that you can make it without a sewing machine!
Materials needed:
- Fabric
- Scissors
- Tape
- Needle and thread
1. Measure whichever fabric you intend using by 12 inches width and 15 inches long. The measurement is not Standard, it can be alternated to suit your choice.
2. Run your thread round the cut out areas of the tote bag leaving only the opening.
3. Cut out your handle, it can vary from 20-25 inches long.
4. Fold the opening of the bag to give it a good finishing and sew the handle to the tote bag.
5. Cut off all unnecessary threads and you are good go!
You can as well go ahead to brand or print whatever you wish to on the bag.
