1. Practice good hygiene

Regular bathing will help in reducing the presence of bacteria that can be a contributing factor to eczema. Avoid heavily fragranced soap use a lukewarm bath.

Don’t rub your face after bathing, pat your face with a soft towel instead.

 

2. Don’t scratch

Eczema may cause several itching, but scratching it may make the condition worsen. You can avoid scratching your face by keeping your fingers short.

3. Use mild soaps on the skin

Certain body washes and cleansers could contain detergent to help them give a soapy lather. However, the detergent could cause the skin to get dry, thereby worsening the skin condition.

Also, avoid products with rough particles for scrubbing or exfoliating as they can cause skin irritation.

 

4. Use coconut oil

Coconut oil can protect the skin by fighting inflammation and improving the health of the skin. You can apply coconut oil directly to the skin after a warm bath.

 

5. Use Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has been researched to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties that can help wounds to heal. Its wound properties will quicken the healing of eczema on the face.
