Nigeria’s Flying Eagles football club has been positioned in a tough group stage of the under-20 African Cup of Nations, as reported by BSN sports.
The draw was conducted on Friday in Cairo, Egypt, and saw Nigeria’s under-20 sides in group A alongside Senegal, Mozambique, and the host Egypt.
The Nigeria players have been in camp under the coaching of Ladan Bosso in the past few weeks and engaged in a series of friendly matches to prepare them for the competitions slated to hold in Egypt in January and February 2023.
The team to get to the semi-finals will qualify to represent the continent in the U20 FIFA World Cup next year.
