Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi have expressed their delight after they helped Leicester City beat Chelsea 1-0 in the final of the FA cup on Sunday evening.
The Super Eagles duo were in action as Leicester City clinched their very first FA cup trophy for the first time in the club’s history.
Ndidi whose daughter turned a year older dedicated his new trophy to his daughter. He said it was a perfect birthday gift to her.
“Perfect birthday gift for my daughter. What a feeling having to see the fans again. Thank you everyone.”
Kelechi also known as senior man, gave glory to God for the new title. He wrote via Twitter:
“OLUOMACHUKWU Champions. @LCFCE go choke for Naija.”
Leicester City chose a perfect name for Kelechi Iheanacho who was more or less the catalytic agent of this moment. They called him “Mr. FA Cup.”
“Mr. FA Cup. Seniorman Kelechi,” they wrote on Twitter.
Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho have been very crucial for the Foxes all the way through the final. Iheanacho’s goals against Brighton & Hove Albion, Manchester United, and Southampton propelled Leicester to the final at Wembley.

However, Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans was the hero of the day as his powerful drive into the top corner midway through the second half, made the difference.
