Paris Saint Germain President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has assured the fans that star forward Kylian Mbappé will remain at the club, at least for now.
Mbappé’s future at the French capital became uncertain since he is yet to sign any contract extension at Parc des Princes.
He is still under contract at PSG until June 30, 2022, beyond which he could therefore go for free in the following year year.

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi however gave an assurance that the French international will not leave PSG this summer neither will he leave for free after a year.
He said in an interview with L’Equipe:
“I’ll be clear: Kylian [Mbappé] is going to stay in Paris, we’re never going to sell him and he’ll never leave free.”
“I never give details in the media about ongoing negotiations. All I can say is that it is progressing well. I hope we will find common ground. It’s Paris, it’s his country. He has a mission, not just to be a football player but to promote the French Championship, his country and his capital. He’s a fantastic boy, as a person and as an athlete. He’s one of the best players today and he will win the Ballon d’Or for years to come, I’m 100% sure. He has everything you need to extend here. Where can he go? Which clubs, in terms of ambition and project, can today compete with PSG?”
