Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suárez has reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus.
The Uruguay national team confirmed in a statement on Monday that the 33-year-old star was among two players that tested positive in the tests carried out ahead of their World Cup qualification game at home to Brazil. The other player was that test positive was goalkeeper Rodrigo Muñoz and a member of the staff.

They also confirmed that Luis Suarez and Muñoz are yet to show any symptoms of the virus and that they have followed the corresponding safety measures.

Suárez will definitely miss the game against Brazil and Atletico Madrid’s match against his former team Barcelona during the weekend.
