Following Wizkid and Tems’ Grammy Awards loss, they have received a new nomination at the Billboard Music Awards with ‘Essence’, which featured Justin Bieber in the remix.

His song ‘Essence’, along with other songs by Silk Sonic, Given, Doja Cat and Justin Bieber, were nominated for top R&B.
Wizkid’s collaboration with Drake earned him his first Billboard Music Award nomination, and he is also the first Nigerian to have his own song nominated for an award.
The Billboard Music Awards which is an International US-based award show is scheduled to hold on May 15, 2022.
