The 8th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, AMVCA show is nothing short of glamour. Surprises and tears of joy are expected to be the highlight of the event that celebrates the best of the best in the African film sector.
The show will also feature the return of the Best Dressed make and female categories and also the recognition of the best dressed guests in the red carpet and will be voted for on the night of the event which is today being Saturday 14th May, 2022.
The celebration which started on Sunday 8th May, 2022 with the opening gala night climaxes tonight with the awards show.

Events preceding the show include fashion parade, young film makers day, content creators brunch amongst others.
Too media personalities and fashion icons, Toke Makinwa, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Uti Nwachukwu and Sika Osei are the red carpet host, while IK Osakioduwa is returning for the 8th time as host of the show alongside South Africa’ Bonang Matheba.
