A Nigerian student has landed in trouble after eating #12,200 worth of Suya without having money to pay.
It was reported that the student, who is a student of University of Benin had approached a man selling Suya and placed a bet with him, bragging that he can eat the entire sticks of smoked beef (Suya).

It was agreed that if he is able to finish eating the Suya, he would not pay any money, but if he is not able to eat everything, then he’d pay for the ones he ate.
However, unfortunately for the student, he ended up losing the bet because he could not complete the task.
The Suya man threatened to take him home because he didn’t have money to pay for the Suya he consumed. It was gathered that the student are #12,200 worth of Suya, out of #22,700 for the whole bunch.
