Finally, the Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition is over. After several weeks (approximately 90 days) of adrenaline, both in and outside the house, Olamilekan Agbeleshe popularly known Laycon has emerged the winner of the 2020 edition of the reality TV show.
The 26-year-old singer and rapper from Lagos was the undisputed winner having edged his fellow finalists with a very high vote margin.
According to the voting statistics, Laycon had 60% of the votes, while his closest rival, Dorathy got 21.85%. The trio of Nengi, Vee and Neo shared about 19% votes among themselves.
Laycon knew such remarkable feat wouldn’t have been possible without the huge support of his fans who kept him in the house until he emerged the winner of the show.
That is why he repeatedly mentioned his fans while thanking everyone who voted for him. He promised never to take for granted what they have done for him.
