The 21-year-old reality TV star was allegedly raised by her grandmother as a result of her parent’s busy schedule. During her conversation with Cross, Angel told him that she never knew the woman who gave birth to her until she was about 7 years old.
Angel said she grew up thinking she wasn’t enough for her parents because they were always giving her excuses whenever she wanted to see see them. She told Cross that during her high school days, she went years without seeing her mother.

Angel felt her grandmother was her real mother and her mom, she considered as her sister. She said she usually calls her grandma “Mom” because she used to see her as her mother.
