Popular Nigerian DJ, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola a.k.a (DJ Cuppy), daughter of nigerian billionaire business man Femi Otedola has reacted after headies denied her nomination.
On December 4, 2020, Nigeria’s premier music award show announced nominations for their upcoming event.
Shockingly for DJ Cuppy, she was not recognized by the organizers for the effort she put on her ‘Original Copy’ album which she released in August this year.
What’s more surprising to DJ Cuppy is the fact that her hit single ‘Jollof On The Jet’ which she dropped in July 2020 didn’t get nominated.

Reacting to news of the nomination, the Karma hit-maker posted a picture of her self crying with the caption that says;

Headies awards organizers has since made it clear that the nomination list is based on the songs and albums released from July 2019- September 2020.
DJ Cuppy is not the only one missing in the nomination list, Patoranking was also not included in the list.
While Cuppy and Patoranking struggles to fit in, Nigerian stars like Burna Boy, Fireboy, Wizkid and more lead nominations.
