Popular Nigerian Nollywood Actor Mike Ezuruonye has finally reacted to the rumors making round the internet, that he swindled £7000 from Nigerian woman who later arrested him in UK.
Recall that a Nigerian woman who resides in the UK accused the actor Mike Ezuruonye of duping her a whopping sum of £7000 after he promised her marriage but failed to fulfill his part of the bargain.
In a lengthy social media post, the woman revealed that the actor specializes in sweet-talking his way into the hearts of women, promise them marriage and start demanding money from them after which he moves to his next victim to devour.
Rumors later has it that Mike Ezuruonye was later arrested in the UK by the same woman who accused her of fraud.
Reacting to those claims, Mike Ezuruonye took to his Verified Instagram account to debunk all those claims of him being arrested while in UK.
He labelled all those claims as nonsense, according to him, he is not in UK but currently at a movie location in Nigeria doing what he knows how to do best which is to make movies.
In his words he says;
“I’ve been quiet for too long about this nonsense. I’ve posted people who have been arrested. I have posted some of those who have impersonated me. I have tagged the EFCC, the police; they have been quite helpful and are still helpful. And some idiots will just wake up and write nonsense.”
“I heard they’ve formed a club against me. Some old women who have been defrauded,” he said.
“Why are you going to give money to somebody you don’t know? What are you looking for? What are you indulging in? And the worst part is that some of you are older than my mother. What are you looking for in that actor, in that musician? And when you are defrauded, you now find the real account of the person. But while you were frolicking with the fake person, you never took your time to look for the real person’s account,” he added.
