An 18-year-old student, Barakat Bello was allegedly raped and killed by some unknown men at her home in Ibadan on.
The hijab-wearing Barakat Bello was allegedly murdered while she was struggling, to resist rape.
Before her untimely death, Barakat Bello was a Science Laboratory Technology ND1 student of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology Moore Plantation in Apata Ibadan, Oyo.
This is coming barely one week after a first year student of Uniben Vera Omozuwa uwaila was raped murdered inside a Redeem church in Benin City.
Uwaila’s death sparked outrage in Nigeria, with many right groups and celebraties protesting, calling on government to wake up from their slumber and tackle the rape issues in Nigeria once and for all.
