Pope Francis asserted that World war III has been declared, this is following the fights taking place around the world.
In a conversation published by the Italian Jesuit Publication, La Crulta Cattolica and La Sampa on June 14, 2022.
The Pontiff referred to the fights in Ukraine, Africa, Northern Nigeria, Northern Congo, Myanmar, and Rohingya.

Pope described Russian troops as brutal, harsh, and ferocious while lauding brave Ukrainians for fighting for their lives and the sovereignty of their homeland.

He also added that the situation was not black and white and that the war was “perhaps in some way provoked.”
And for him, The world is at war, he said, today, “world war III has been declared.”
He also believes that there is a reason about roots and interests which are complex concerning the war between Russia and Ukraine.
The Pope believes that humanity has seen three World Wars in a century, a situation he calls “calamity.”
