U.S. House of Representatives are planning to introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump as early as Monday, CNN reports say.
This I believe would be a way to hold the president accountable for what happened at the Capitol Hill on Wednesday.
This is not the first time the Democrats controlled House is unveiling articles of impeachment against the president.

Recall that In December 2019, the House impeached Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The Senate acquitted him on both charges last February.

One might ask, why would the House of Representatives waste their time and energy trying to impeach Trump when his tenure expires in less than 11 days?
The answer is simple, the Congress wants Donald Trump to be prosecuted and probably sent to jail for undermining the country’s democracy.
However, the Impeachment against Trump could be averted only if the President abdicate.
House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi threatened on Friday that the House could move to impeach President Trump over his role in inciting a violent mob attack on the Capitol if he did not resign “immediately.”
A growing number of republicans in Congress has indicated that the would vote to impeach the President if the articles of Impeachment against the president is reasonable.
The Congress on Thursday certified Joe Biden’s election victory, which means that Joe Biden will be American’s 46th president.
