Seriously why do Westerners always look down on Nigerians, not just Nigerians but Africans?
Why do they always feel like they are better human being more than the rest of us here in African?
This is not the first time wizkid is being insulted and downgraded by those of them out there in the western world.
Earlier last year, a group of British DJs passed what may be perceived as subtle shade at Nigerian singer Wizkid.
According to the British DJs, if it was not for the influence of Canadian rapper, Drake, nobody outside Africa would know about Wizkid, stating that ‘nobody knows Wizkid’ and they went on to back up their assertion with an explanation.
According to them, despite efforts being made by Drake to push the narrative of the Nigerian-born singer as the face of afrobeats, it still remains to be widely contested.
Can you beat that?
