The Federal Government of Nigeria has finally agreed to meet all the demands of Academic Staffs Of Universities (ASSU) so as to suspend the lengthy strike which has lasted for over 235 days.
This latest information is taken from the just held meeting of the ASSU with the Federal Government which took place in Abuja Friday, 20 November 2020.
From the meeting, the FG took the move and actually made the decision to meet the requests of the Academic Staffs Of Universities in other to put down the strike and resume academics activities.
The Federal Government has agreed to pay an additional N15 billion as a revitalization fund demanded by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The Academic Staffs Of Universities (ASSU) made made the revelation via twitter handle on Friday night.
