Elon Musk Joins Twitter Board Of Directors After Becoming Their Biggest Shareholder
World richest person and Tesla, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has been unveiled officially as one of Twitter’s board of directors after becoming the company’s biggest shareholder.
“I’m excited to share that we’re appointing @elonmusk to our board!” Through conversations with Elon in recent weeks, it became clear to us that he would bring great value to our Board. Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal tweeted Tuesday morning.
“He’s both a passionate believer and intense critic of the service which is exactly what we need on @Twitter, and in the boardroom, to make us stronger in the long-term. Welcome Elon!” Agrawal added.
The announcement came one day after it became public that Musk has acquired 9.2% stake in the micro-blogging platform.

Elon Musk however agreed not to own more than 14.9 percent of Twitter’s stock or take over the company, which is based in San Francisco, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In his swift response, Mr. Musk, said he hoped to “make significant improvements to Twitter in coming months.”
Looking forward to working with Parag & Twitter board to make significant improvements to Twitter in coming months! He tweeted.
On Monday Elon musk asked Twitter users if they wanted what a vocal group of them have been seeking for years: the ability to edit their tweets.
“Do you want an edit button?” Musk asked in a poll.
The answers, cheekily, were “yse” or “on.”
