Ayanna Willams was featured in Guinness world records in 2018 as the woman with the longest fingernails.
Ayanna Willams started growing her nails in the early 1990’s and and her fingernails grow up to 28 years. She had her nails cut
for the first time in April, 2021.
Before it was cut, she got one
final measurement: 24 ft, 0.7 inches. That
manicure took three to four bottles of nail polish over the course of a few days.
Ayanna Williams got the
task done at a dermatology office in Fort Worth, Texas, where an electric rotary tool was used for her first nail cut since the early 1990s.
According to her, she can still
do without her nails.
“With or without my nails, I will still be the
queen,” Williams said.
“My nails don’t make me, I make my nails!”
She also revealed that she was unable to carry out
activities such as washing
dishes or making her bed with her nails. While driving, the Oy difficult thing is turning right as she drives with
minimal difficulty.
After cutting her nails, it was set to be preserved on display at Ripley’s believe it or not! Museum in Orlando, Florida.
Ayanna Willams after attaining the record of world’s longest fingernails says it will make history.
Even though it’s just my nails, it’s going to be awesome,” Williams said. “It’s history for my kids and my grandkids. It’s very exciting.”
“Do what you want to do! Let everyone be themselves,” Williams said. “If you want to grow your nails long, do it!”
