A man identified as a police inspector in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State has been detained for allegedly cutting off his pregnant wife’s hand over a dispute involving N3000. The incident occurred in the Dong area, where the inspector, angered by his wife taking money from his savings, engaged in a violent altercation with her.
According to reports, the inspector left the money at home, and upon discovering it missing, confronted his wife, sparking the argument. The State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Alfred Alabo, confirmed the detention of the suspect and stated that investigations are ongoing at the State CID.
