Two minors and three others have been apprehended by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly leaking a lady’s nude on social media. The Lady identified as Christabel Akhigbe was stripped naked under suspicion of phone theft.
The suspects, including Blessing Lucky, Jennifer Eboigbe, Iziegbe Ogbodu, Naomi Ekhonetomwan, and Lucky Endurance, are accused of indecent assault and cyber stalking for filming and sharing the incident on social media.
Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adeboye, disclosed that the suspects accused Akhigbe of stealing a phone, leading to her being lured, assaulted, and filmed. Adeboye emphasized the importance of reporting such incidents to the authorities rather than taking matters into one’s own hands.

He assured cooperation with human rights organizations to ensure justice is served. One of the suspects, Eboigbe, expressed remorse, acknowledging the shameful nature of their actions.
