Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has been named Premier League player of the month of March.
The 24-year-old Super Eagles forward saw off the likes of Harry Kane, Riyad Mahrez and Luke Shaw to claim the award.
Iheanacho was in fantastic form throughout the month of March. He scored five goals in three games, 1 goal each in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw against Burnley, and 2-1 win Brighton.

Kelechi also bagged a hat-trick in the 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield United at the King Power Stadium.
According to OptaJoe Iheanacho is now the 4th Nigerian player to win the Player of the Month award after Jay-Jay Okocha, Peter Odemwingie and Odion Ighalo.
After receiving the award for the first time, the Senior Man, as he’s fondly called by his countrymen Wilfred Ndidi was spotted in a video bragging about his new achievement
