Manchester United join Real Madrid in race for Samuel Chukwueze

English Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly joined several other top European clubs in race for Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze.

The 21-year-old left-footed winger is widely regarded as one of the most promising young players in the La Liga Santander.

His impressive performances for the Yellow Submarines of recent have not gone unnoticed, as reports has it that some of Europe’s elite club including Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester City, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all interested in the Nigerian.

Spanish media outlet Larazon recently revealed that Real Madrid are one of the clubs watching Samu Chukwueze’s progress at Villarreal.

Manchester United believes that Chukwueze could be a cheaper option in case they fail to pull off a summer transfer deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho.

It may not be easy as it sounds, because the player still has three years left on his current deal at Villarreal and it could take the activation of his €80m release clause to secure his transfer.

Meanwhile, Chukwueze has scored 13 goals and assisted 12 times in his 90 games for Villarreal.
