Super Eagles of Nigeria have automatically qualified for the Total 2022 African Cup of Nation, after Lesotho played a 0-0 draw with Sierra Leone today.
The Nigerian team currently sits at the top of group L with 8 points and two games to spare, while their closest rival Benin Republic occupies the second position with 7 points.
Sierra Leone and Lesotho has 4 and 3 points respectively, with only a game at hand. So it implies that Lesotho have been eliminated from the AFCON Qualifiers, even if they eventually win their dead rubber tie against the Super Eagles.
