Neymar dropped a bombshell on Wednesday December 2, in front of the media, when he publicly proclaimed that he wants to play with Lionel Messi again and that he’s sure it could happen next season as reported by Newsblenda.
Neymar however, did not reveal if the reunion will be in Spain at FC Barcelona or at Parc des Princes. While Paris Saint Germain is reportedly determined to fulfill the wishes of their star player, the same cannot be said of Barcelona, except on one condition.
In comments reported by interim president of the Catalan club AS, Carles Tusquets, the Blaugrana do not currently have the financial resources to bring back their former player, unless they make huge sales or the new president ‘manages to work miracles’.
Le10sport reported Carles Tusquets as saying:
“If he comes for free, we could consider it . Otherwise, there is no money to pay. Unless the new president manages to work miracles. If there are sales and the technical staff agree, why not”.
