FC Barcelona’s new president Joan Laporta, has jokingly promised to play Asisat Oshoala alongside Lionel Messi in their men’s team.
Laporta who is a huge fan of the Super Falcons star was highly impressed with her performance in their quarterfinal victory against Manchester City at the UEFA women’s champions league.
Oshoala scored Barcelona Feminine’s only goal in the game that ended 2-1. She was also on the score sheet in their first leg 3-0 victory.

After the game, Laporta told Marca newspaper:
“Look I have also thought about the idea of she (Asisat) playing for the men team and now it has to happen. She is just soo good.
“Imagine her alonside Messi in our attack?? I said i want a different Barcelona team in my re-election and i am committed to achieving that.”
