Gernot Rohr has released a 23-man list of Super Eagles players that will face Sierra Leone in their upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.
Players like Victor Osimhen, Oghenakaro Etebo and Joe Aribo, who initially missed the friendly matches against Tunisia and Algeria due to some reasons were given a second chance by the manager.
Veteran goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi who played his last game for the country against Lesotho on November 17, 2019, also made his return to the team.
The Kaizer Chiefs star was allegedly omitted from the recent friendlies due to injury. Paul Onuachu who was totally ineffective in the game against Algeria was kept on standby along with six others.

Super Eagles will face Sierra Leone at home in Benin City on 13 November and in Free Town on 17 November.”
