British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has made it clear what he certainly wants from the titanic clash with his division rival, WBC world champion Tyson Fury.
In an interview with The Sun, the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion said he placed Tyson on his “hit list” because he has something he wants, that is his belt.
“Undoubtedly the fight I want is Tyson Fury – he is holding something that I want, he’s on my hit list,” Joshua told The Sun,
“He says things about me all the time, there is so much back and forth, but Tyson Fury is only relevant the day me and him sign a contract to fight.
“He is a great person and he has done great things in boxing, but until the day we fight that is where it ends and I don’t have anything else to say about him. I really want the belt he holds and that is where I stand.”
Joshua vs. Tyson’s fight is considered to be on of the biggest fight in the history of boxing due to the pedigree of the boxers.
Fury is the current WBC world champion after defeating Deontay Wilder in seven rounds back in February while AJ took hold of the WBO heavyweight title when he dominated Andy Ruiz over twelve rounds for a unanimous decision in Saudi Arabia back in December.
Their fight is scheduled to take place next year.
