Some Zimbabwean citizens are reportedly selling their toes for money.
This report has been making waves on the social media platforms and it’s usually referred to as crypTOEcurrency. The people are said to be selling their toes for ritual money.
It has not yet be fully ascertained, what led to this new trend. The most popular motive, according to many “Ximex Boys” is “to be able to buy a Toyota GD6 truck which is worth around $25k-$70k. But rumour has it that it is due to the high cost of living and failure of the government to create jobs.
A single toe is reportedly worth at $40,000 dollars (N16m), while the smaller ones are values at $20,000 dollars (N8m).
