Graphic footage showing officers of the Nigerian police dragging 2 men out from their vehicle, assaulting and attempting to shoot one of them has sparked outrage on social media.
In the disturbing footage taken by bystanders and posted on to social media on Tuesday 26th July, armed police officers can be seen forcefully dragging two men out from their car and assaulting them for allegedly driving a luxurious car. One of the officers even attempted to shoot the driver of the vehicle.

According to blogger @NaijaEverything, who first shared the video, the officers assulted the young men not because they committed a crime but because they were just young men driving an expensive car.
