As the tension between the niger republic coup plotters and ECOWAS continue to heightened, a viral video circulating on social media has raised fears in the minds of Nigeriens.
The video shows hundreds of soldiers marching towards the Nigerien border.
Is not clear which country has the troops as of the time of filing this report.

On 27th July, coup plotters Led by Colonel-Major Amadou Abdramane, announced on national TV they they had carried out a coup, they also closed all West African borders.
With this, Niger becomes the sixth country in the West Africa subregion to experience a coup since August 2020.
