President Bola Tinubu has given his consent to the dismissal of all the current service chiefs and has chosen replacements for their positions.
Alongside this decision, he has also granted the appointment of Nuhu Ribadu as the new National Security Adviser (NSA). These significant changes were announced in a statement issued on Monday evening by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) and were made available through the Director of Information in the office, Mr. Willie Bassey.
One of the key appointments approved by the President is that of DIG Kayode Egbetokun, who will assume the role of Acting Inspector-General of Police. Additionally, Adeniyi Bashir Adewale has been appointed as the Acting Comptroller General of Customs.
