An accident involving a moving train and a BRT bus occurred this morning in Lagos.
The accident happened on Thursday morning in the Shogunle area of Ikeja, Lagos State.
Reports have it that the blue BRT bus fully loaded with staff was trying to cross while the train was closed by in motion. The magnet on the train grabbed it from the PWD bus stop and dragged it to Shogunle where it stopped.
An eyewitness who identified himself as Banks said that the stubborn driver refused to stop at the level crossing when he was stopped.
According to the eye witness, the driver refused to stop when the keepers of NRC at the level crossing asked him to stop. He thought he could pass before the coming of the train.
