Protesters in Edo State were captured destroying any bank at sight in Edo State After Police allegedly shot one of the protesters during a peaceful protest.
One of the protesters was said to have been shot by the police during a peaceful protest against the scarcity of New Ṅaira Notes in Edo State.
According to report, this triggered the angry protesters who went ahead to destroy banks.
Meanwhile, some social media users condemned the act, stating that the protesters should not have destroyed banks, while others think they got involved in the act due to cashless frustration and the gunning down of one of them.
