Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has reiterated his government’s zero-tolerance policy toward armed groups and criminals in Rivers State.
The angry governor added that his administration will continue to hunt down and neutralize those who kidnap and terrorize innocent individuals, particularly students.

Wike stated that anyone who commits unprovoked violence in the state, regardless of their status or allegiance to his government, will be held accountable.
The governor further stated that the days of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) claiming to be bulletproof due to spiritual capabilities are numbered. As a result, Governor Wike has urged hoodlums and thugs in the state to repent or face the consequences.
“When people say ‘IPOB, they’re carrying juju,’ no problem. That’s what you say. But what’s happening? Are they not dying? Let nobody deceive you with juju.
Take today, all of you criminals who are here, 2nd of June, 2021, and repent. If you don’t repent, the period has come. You’ll die. Your parents will not bury you. We’ll bury you like vultures. Either your hand will be cut off, or they’ll blow your heads off. Your parents won’t even know you’re dead.”, He said
