The race for the presidency is usually decided in a small number of key battleground states that switch party allegiance between elections.
Wisconsin and Arizona was very crucial to President Donald Trump’s victory four years ago. But Biden has taken hold of those states.
His victories in those states left him at 264 electoral votes, meaning he is one battleground state away from crossing the 270 threshold and becoming president-elect. Donald Trump on the other hand has racked up to 214 votes so far.
But Trump’s campaign whose path to victory look slim, said that it would seek a recount in Wisconsin and has already announced that it had taken legal action to halt the vote count in Michigan.
Although both candidates still have a chance to hit the magic number of 270 electoral votes, but all odds are against Donald Trump and his campaign.
