Rumor has it that the judges of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT, who dished out the judgement affirming APC candidate Bola Tinubu as Nigeria’s President, were paid $5million each with Justice Haruna Tsammani, who led the Tribunal getting $7million.
According to Jackson Ude, a Strategic Communication expert, this claim was issued by a very angry Appeal Court Judge on the early morning of Thursday September 7.
The Judge who pledged anonymity said plans have already been concluded to give each member of the Supreme Court who will sit on the case $7million and $10million to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Olukayode Ariwoola.

He further revealed that Wole Olanikpekun, Nyesom Wike, Festus Keyamo, Babatunde Fashola, Lateef Fagbemi and few others coordinated the scheme and the bribe money. This agreement will kickstart a ground work to prepare for the Judgement where Rtd Justice Mary Odili delivered the speech that signaled how the Tribunal Judges would rule.
The exasperated legal practitioner also claims that the Judgement was handwritten and handed over to the Judges and that Justice Tsammani struggled to read it, because he was having challenges seeing the writings.
He said he is not the only angry one amongst the Judges. He said two other Appeal Court Judges are livid with their colleagues especially the way and manner Justice Monsurat Bolaji-Yusuf was insulting the Petitioners. Other Judges on the infamous panel were Justice Stephen Adah, Abba Mohammed, Moses Ugo.
