Bola Ahmed Tinubu, of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has been declared winner of Nigeria’s most hotly contested and high-staked presidential election.

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, announced the former Lagos state governor’s victory, few minutes past 4am on Wednesday, 1st March, 2023, at the National Collation Centre in Abuja.

He declared,

…That Tinubu Bola Ahmed of the APC, having satisfied the position of the law is hereby declared the winner.
