Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan have incited a petition against the current national leader of the All Progressives Congress Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu.
Omokri accused the Lagos State ex-Governor of money laundering, by using billion to convey large sums of money into his apartment during the 2019 elections.
He also charged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate the matter in the petition he started via Change.org.

As at the time of compiling this report, about 359 out of 500 required persons have already signed to the petition Reno Omokri started.
Meanwhile, money laundering – the concealment of the origins of illegally obtained money, is a highly punishable offence in Nigeria.
According, to the Section 15 of MLPA Act (2011), a person who is found guilty of this crime could face imprisonment from 7 to 14 years.
